Over the past two months, Wandsworth residents have created striking masks, chosen bold costumes, and explored the art of masked performance. Now, they’re ready to bring their characters to life in a joyful public celebration!

Expect a surprise invasion of playful, poetic, and peculiar masked figures, spreading energy and curiosity along a walking route that weaves through Mitcham Road and Tooting High Street. You’ll catch glimpses of our masked performers around familiar local landmarks—from the Library to the Markets, from Primark to the College.

    Mask Specialist and Artistic Director of Dende Collective

    André Pink is the Artistic Director of Dendê Collective. He trained with master clown teacher Philippe Gaulier and regularly teaches clowning at drama schools across the UK. With over 20 years’ experience in theatre and community arts, André’s passion is creating inclusive, playful spaces where everyone can find their creative voice.
